Congrats to the winners of Americana Awards last night whose artistry is worthy of the acclaim it's given. Huge appreciation to the Americana Music Association for the equal representation and inclusion of those who aren't #meninmusic in the awards ceremony. We are disheartened by the lack of female artists receiving enough votes within the community to actually win. Despite earning over half the nominations, women ultimately won only one award — for instrumentalist of the year. Big congrats to guitarist Molly Tuttle! Point is, we clearly still have work to do.
